40s on 40
There used to take place a glorious tradition at Columbia for all seniors — 40s on 40. My upper-classman friend told me that college walk used to be covered with 40s on this very day. The day signifies 40 days until graduation.  However, due to the war on fun here at Columbia University this day has been turned into “Cups of Warm Beer On the Steps… On 40.”

I realized I have only two major pet peeves this morning: I can’t stand it whesomeone starts belting out show-tunes unexpectedly. Or any song for that matter. Yale is Hogwarts
So I made the trip all the way to New Haven Connecticut this weekend for a web conference all of the Ivy Dailies. It was a great experience. But, the one lasting impression I came away with was that Yale IS Hogwarts. Really.

April Foolishness
It was an astonishing 68 degrees outsides today in the lovely city of New York. I’ve noticed that college students within this city will take the very first chance they get to wear absolutely nothing. Even if it means that when it drops to 40 degrees that night they’re still wearing just flip flops, shorts, and a t-shirt. I can feel my summer skin already.   In other news I managed...
