"First off, N.E.R.D. dropped on stage with attitude, effortlessly amping up the energy with songs from their album, Seeing Sounds. They played almost an hour long set, including jams like “She Wants To Move” and “Rockstar” that made the crowd undulate, scream, and grind harder. The guitar riffs and drums pumped were N.E.R.D at their best- loud and furious, while N.E.R.D/The Neptunes frontman, Pharrell Williams masterminded the stage, jumping, sweating and rapping so fierce at times it looked like he’d either cry or explode. N.E.R.D proved that no stage effects were necessary, instead inviting audience members onstage for the set’s final song - inciting an instant dance party. Another added bonus? Pharrell gave a personal shout-out up to Diddy, who was lounging with a bottle of bubbly on the Mezzaine level. Diddy simply smiled and gave a shout-out right back. Only in NYC folks."
